Custom fibreglass seats for a roof top garden

In 2004 I was commissioned by Jenny Smith Gardens to build a set of custom fibreglass seats for a roof top garden at an apartment in St. Kilda Rd. The seats had to be opaque as there is internal lighting, so the seats can glow at night time. The fibreglass shell is supported with a stainless steel post that also holds the internal light. The resin was tinted to match the steel planter boxes. Nearly 10 years on and the seats are holding up well considering the harsh environment they are in.
